Dear United Taekwondo Studio Families,

We hope everyone is enjoying a fantastic summer! August is filled with exciting opportunities to train, challenge yourself, and have fun with your fellow students. Please review the important dates and announcements below.

🥋 Board Breaking Class

Friday, August 21, 2026
5:30 PM – Until Completion

Board Breaking is an exciting part of your martial arts journey and excellent preparation for Belt Testing. Students will work on proper breaking technique while building confidence, focus, power, and determination.

Board Breaking Fee

• $10 Cash (payable at the door on the day of the event)

Belt Testing Reminder

• All Belt Testing fees and required books must be submitted by Wednesday, August 19th.
• No late testing payments or late book submissions will be accepted.
• Students should arrive in a clean, pressed uniform, with neatly groomed hair and be prepared to perform at their very best.

Participation in Board Breaking is strongly recommended for all students who are testing.

🏆 Belt Testing

Saturday, August 22, 2026
10:30 AM

Belt Testing is your opportunity to demonstrate the skills, discipline, confidence, and perseverance you've developed through your training.

Please remember to:

• Arrive early.
• Wear a clean, pressed uniform.
• Have your belt tied correctly.
• Display excellent martial arts etiquette, respect, and a positive attitude.

🇺🇸 NEW EVENT!

American Ninja Warrior Night

Friday, August 28, 2026
6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

We are excited to introduce our first-ever American Ninja Warrior Night!

Think you've got what it takes?

Students will race through exciting obstacle courses designed to test:

• Speed
• Agility
• Balance
• Strength
• Coordination
• Endurance

Compete in:

• 🥇 Individual Timed Competition
• 👥 Team Competition

The evening also includes:

• 🍕 Pizza
• 🍿 Snacks
• 🥤 Drinks
• High-energy obstacle challenges
• Friendly competition
• Two hours of nonstop fun!

🏅 Medals will be awarded to the winners in each division!

Cost: $40 per participant

Space is limited!
